The magnetic bead method plasmid DNA mass extraction kit is a newly developed bacterial plasmid DNA mass extraction kit. This product combines the magnetic nano-separation technology and the SDS alkaline lysis method of bacterial cells to extract high-quality plasmid DNA from recombinant E. coli cultures simply, quickly and at low cost. The cell debris and SDS complex settle down under the action of centrifugal force. Under certain conditions, the magnetic beads can well adsorb the plasmid DNA in the supernatant, and other impurities such as protein and salt ions are removed by washing. When the conditions change, the magnetic beads release the adsorbed plasmid DNA. Up to 1.5 mg of plasmid DNA can be recovered from 100-200 ml of Luria Broth (LB) medium in 45 minutes. Please note that the actual yield and optimal culture volume depend on the plasmid and medium. The plasmids extracted from this kit have high purity, the ratio of OD260/OD280 is generally between 1.7 and 1.9, and the ratio of OD260/OD230 is greater than 2.0, which can be directly used for transformation, DNA sequencing, PCR, PCR-based mutation, in vitro transcription and enzyme Wait for follow-up experiments.
